I have done a good job sticking to old WIPs and not starting a new pair of socks.

Beautiful swallowtail. I know what you mean about scarf size: I knit it in lace wt. yarn, and that is what I got. I just recently re-knit the pattern, using worsted wt. Alpaca - shawl!

Glad the Hawk didn't get the fish!! We have 3 nests in the woods around our house....they are incredible to watch!!

Glad all of your koi are okay. We used to have a hawk that would prowl my bird feeder. Every now and then he'd grab a bird.

it is a sharp-shinned hawk
never seen them get fish but they do get song birds
