Finally Three WIPs are FOs

I have done a good job sticking to old WIPs and not starting a new pair of socks.

Feather and Fan Scarf
Yarn  Hand Maiden Sea Silk
Started February 2007
Finished August 2009

Last night as I was going outside to feed the fish I saw a large "bird" flying into the trees.  The fish didn't even come up for their food and were at the bottom of the pond so I know they were frightened.  I ran and grabbed the camera and think the "bird" is a hawk.  This morning my 5 koi are all accounted for!

Beautiful swallowtail. I know what you mean about scarf size: I knit it in lace wt. yarn, and that is what I got. I just recently re-knit the pattern, using worsted wt. Alpaca - shawl!

All of your FOs are gorgeous! It also kind of validates me when I see someone else with a WIP they started in 2006. Thank you!

Hope the Koi stay safe!

The Swallowtail Shawl is gorgeous! Good for you, sticking to your UFOs.

Glad all of your koi are okay. We used to have a hawk that would prowl my bird feeder. Every now and then he'd grab a bird.
