As I am delayed yet once again, I have a few minutes to tell you of my short vacation to New England. I was meeting up Thursday with DH in Detroit and then we were heading to Manchester, New Hampshire and New England for a long 4th weekend. Well DH made it to Detroit and on to Manchester but I was delayed and had to speed the night. Friday we finally got together and headed to King Arthur Flour in Norwich, Vermont. I have always wanted to go and have ordered from them many times.

What a fun trip! I'm glad they have King Arthur flour here now. I used to get it when I lived in Washington state. I'll have to try some Cabot cheese. I noticed they carry it around here.

So glad you had a good time in Vermont! My MIL & FIL spend the 4th in Southern VT, and they enjoyed the small town celebrations there. There are some really great yarn shops!

I went to Trader Joe's recently in search of King Arthur flour and found that they no longer carry it - with a great big disclaimer posted on their shelf. Boo hoo.

If you ever come back to New England here's a few things/places to put on your do-list:
Visit around the 2nd week in October. The colors are gorgeous.
The Vermont Country Store in Rockingham or Weston, VT.
WEBS-America's Yarn Store in Northampton, Massachusetts (you may never want to leave. I plan on living there in my retirement.Though I haven't cleared that with them--yet.)
Visit the east coast of Maine.
There's tons more but so common to me because I live here. Next time I go to King Arthur I'll detour to White River Yarns and check it out. Oh! If you go back to KAF head down the road and over the bridge to Hanover, NH. Cute college town.
