Just a Drive-By

Since I have been a little under the weather this past holiday weekend and this week I have a drive-by.

I finished Clue #3 on the Secret of the Stole III and by DK's(the designer) calculation we are 36% finished .  The next clue will be out in the morning.

The Spring Forward socks are finished.  This a great pattern and these are the second pair I have made.

Spring Forward from Knitty

Alabama Fiber Dreams Superwash Merino in Tantalizing Teal

Size 1 1/2 DPNs

I also started another pair of plain vanilla socks in school colors.  Can you guess which school?

I also have a little stash enhancement to show you.  I was quick enough to grab these Yarntini skeins on a recent update.

Dsc_0009 Gin

Dsc_0012 Grape Fizz

Dsc_0007 A special Project Runway Michael Kors colorway,The Crotch in those Pants is Insane.

Not much excitement with Wiskers on Wednesday.  The "children" must play all day while I am gone because it seems like all they do when I am home is sleep.  The proof follows.

Have a great day!

The socks are awesome & as usual Jessi did a great job on the yarn.

While the cat's away the mice do play............ or is it when the owner's gone the cats make a day of it....whatever.

Oooh! Thanks for posting a pic of the socks! I was excited to see how they'd turn out. :-) And a big, hearty War Eagle to you! ;-)

Sorry you've been feeling under the weather. Lots of hugs and chicken soup for you!

I love the socks, have to rip mine out because they're too small. I love that pattern in blue/green colorways, not sure why, but maybe because it looks like waves.

And your cats look so, so soft! I just want to reach out and pet them. I had a Siamese/Burmese mix who had fur that looked like that, but my current cats aren't so lucky.

I think the cats are playing games with you. They want you to think they're asleep.

Lovely colors for your new socks! Hope you are feeling better now. Maybe a nap with the kitties is in order?
