Another Hot Monday

Yes, Monday has come around again and there was actual knitting this weekend.

Flat Feet Sock Yarn in Plain Vanilla Pattern

Size 1 1/2 DPNs

These socks do look a lot better after blocking.  There was a lot of bleeding which might have been avoided if I had read the label and added vinegar to the water while soaking.  Oh well, the color looks good anyway.

Noro Striped Scarf from Brooklyntweed

Noro Silk Garden in #225 and #8

Size # 8 needles

Love the scarf and all of the color changes.

We also were invited to a friends surprise 40th birthday party.  Her sister and family pulled it off and everyone had a great time.

The newest pair of socks on the needles is Pheasant Run Socks from Wildhorse Farm Designs and I am using Cabin Cove Merino in Orchid.

Good Lord, woman! How in the world do you find time to knit all that! LOL The socks are gorgeous! I've cast on for a new pair, but I'm not sure what they'll grow up to be yet. ;-)

What gorgeous socks!!! The scarf is beautiful, also. How did you like knitting up the flat feet yarn? You are a busy lady, aren't you.

Wow, you have been knitting up a storm! Such gorgeous socks, and that scarf is wonderful.

The colors in the Noro scarf are really amazing; I will have to look up that pattern. Your socks are amazing and you must knit in your sleep for sure. Or you've taught the cats to knit and aren't telling us...your blog *is* Catknits!

Wow, you've been busy!! I'm impressed. I finished my plain vanilla socks in the Tilli Tomas yarn and have cast on for JayWalkers. But I'm currently back working on my Lotus Blossom Tank.

Wow, you have been a busy girl! Have you been sleeping or just knitting? :)
Love the socks! I am going to try the no purl monkeys one of these days. I loved the regular Monkey pattern, so I think I would love the no purl version even better. Very pretty scarf too!
