A New Week
Where do I start. I have been MIA due to some health issues, but am on the uphill swing finally. I didn't think that I had been knitting all that much but I realized that I do have several FOs to share. After reading about Elizabeth's and Margene's CeCe, I decided I had to knit one for myself. Remember that orange blob in the last post? Here is CeCe almost finished. I am using Rowan Cotton Glace in color 802 and am loving this sweater but I am not sure I will want to wear it in this 93 degree heat.
I also have a couple of pair of socks which have been finished for a while. Both of these pairs are the no purl Monkeys (which I love by the way).
No Purl Monkeys
Size 1 1/2 DPNs
Pagewood Farm Merino/Bamboo/Nylon 70/20/10 in Navajo colorway
No Purl Monkeys
Size 1 1/2 DPNs
Claudia Handpainted in Walnut and the toes in Charcoal
When Bibby and I went to Atlanta to see the Harlot, I bought the yarn for the Summer Tweed Sweater from Knitch and I have finally finished it. When my SIL from Dunedin, FL visited earlier this summer she said she would be glad to make buttons for it. They arrived last week and now I have a fun summer sweater.
I used Araucania Chacabuco Solid #707 which is 100% pima cotton and so soft. The color is a little more lavender than the pictures. The sweater is knit in 1 piece from the neck down and only required a little stitching under the armholes. Hershey is trying to help by holding it down for the picture.
The Koi were hungry this morning and I was able to get a pretty good picture.
Have a great week!

You've been busy! You'll have to bring some of your FO's to the next knit night so I can pet them in person. :-) They all look beautiful!
I hope you get to feeling better soon!

I hope you're feeling better now. Wow you've got a lot of knitting there. I like the no purl Monkeys. They zoom right a long and still look cute. CeCe has been on my list of things to knit.

Sorry to hear you have been having some health issues, but am glad to hear you are now on the upswing! You definitely have been busy though...wow. Everything looks great. You'll get a lot of wear from Cece. It's a great sweater! It won't stay hot forever!
