New Projects

Since the MS3 is finished and blocked(pictures later since I am having a hard time taking a decent picture) I started the Forest Canopy Shoulder Shawl.  I purchased a small skein of Malabrigo Lace in Bobby Blue from Eva's Needlework on my last trip to California.  The pattern is from Susan who is celebrating her birthday by having a 50% off sale through Saturday night on several of her patterns.  She is also going to have a drawing and giving away yarn to one lucky person who purchased a pattern so go check it out.

I have another pair of socks off the needles too.  A quick easy pattern on sport weight yarn.

Another hot, hot day here in the deep south and I am looking forward to some cooler weather.

Tuesday Already?

Yes I know I haven't posted in a while but life just has a way of getting in the way.  I want to thank everyone on the good wishes for my Mom.  Dad, Mom and Nicki(their cat) are now home in Montgomery and doing ok.  Therapy workers are doing in home visits and Mom is eating a little better so we are breathing a little easier.

I have been plugging away on some projects and do have a few FOs to show for during my absence.

Not Cabled Socks from Sockbug for a friend who took care of the kitties while we were gone during July.  I loved the yarn and pattern.

I have also been able to keep up with the clues for the Mystery Stole 3.  Clue 6 was posted last Friday and I don't know how many more there are.  I have enjoyed knitting this stole because of the nice lightweight yarn especially with the oppressive heat we have had the past week.

Yesterday The Pond Guy cleaned out our small pond and I leave you with a picture of Dorothy, Tiger, Earl and Aubie who are very pleased with clear water.
