To Market to Market Again
Well another quick post before I head out the door for the Gift Market in Atlanta. The spinning class was so much fun that I totally forgot to take any pictures. I did realize that I am going to have to be patient and practice, practice and more practice. I am taking the spindle and a little roving with me even if I only am able to practice a few minutes. I also have made a little and I mean a little progress on the Jaywalkers. The pattern is fun to knit and I am loving the LL.
Hi Secret Pal. Thanks for all of the nice comments. I noticed you put a pin in my map and you are from Bakersfield,CA. I know it is a little late but here are the answers to my SP questionnaire. If you have any questions just ask.
I almost didn't want to show the results from the spinning class but here goes. I don't think I was the only one that had such a variation in the end result of yarn but Mercedes said that would come with practice.
Time to meet up with Rudy and Jamie for the trip to Atlanta, but the good news is that I will have a couple of hours to knit. Have a good week!

Your Jaywalker is looking great - I wonder if it will have wide spirals?! And the scarf is very cool!! I like how you're getting vertical striping. Thanks for posting the link to the scarf pattern - I've seen it before and really admired it.
Lovely colors on your spinning. Doesn't look any more uneven than the Manos to me!

Your spun yarn looks great! Don't worry about consistency right now, that comes with time. All you want to worry about is getting the motion down. Great job!
